With our electroplating starter kit we offer you the possibility to electroplate your objects on your own. It is made for bath and pen plating.
What is electroplating?
Electroplating is the process of depositing metal coatings by direct current. Metal ions migrate via a solution from a positive electrode to a negative one.
What do you need for electroplating?
Electroplating is fairly easy: you need a power supply, a cathode and anode, and the electrolyte.

The power supply
3 Amps, 18V are enough for serious working.
The material for bath electroplating
You need anodes for bath plating: a copper anode or stainless steel anode. Both are included in the kit. It includes also a polystyrene tray (the bath) as well as the cables with the crocodile clips.
The Galvano-Pen for precise plating
Maybe you only want to coat parts of your pieces or you want to be very economical with the electrolyte? That's what the graphite galvanopen is for. You can coat very precisely with its small, fine tip. Of course, the cables are also included here, as well as a total of 3 tips.
Would you like to gild or silver plate? Select the appropriate option to do so. If you also want to coat larger parts, then we recommend that you also order the Galvanobrush at the same time. The large pad allows you to quickly coat a larger area.
