Customs duties have to be paid by the customer before customs authority will release goods.
As customs clearance and payment of duties can be complex to manage, we have limited shipping of some items to Switzerland.
However you can choose a different address near the border in France/Germany or use a service like grenzpaket.ch, colisexpat.com etc. Please ask the forwarding service to add an insurance on your parcel because our insurance ends here.
We collect the french or german VAT depending on the delivery address. You have to pay the Swiss VAT when you import the items to Switzerland. However you may ask for a tax refund of the french or german VAT by sending us the documents showing that you exported the items to Switzerland. If you do so, we will check the documents and refund the VAT. Fee: 25 Euro + bank fees (if applicable).
Any return of items (warranty or repair) sent to Swiss customers have to be shipped from an address in France or Germany. METALCLAY-SHOP.COM does not pay any customs or related fees.
