Liver of sulfur

Liver sulfur is used to form a patina on the jewellery.

Dissolve a smal quantity of liver sulfur in a cup of warm water. Drop your silver into the mix and swirl it around. To finish the process, remove the piece and clean it with water and gently polish the piece with a silver cloth.

Use in a well ventilated area. If you get in contact with the liver sulfur, wash it off quickly in order to avoid irritation to sensitive skin.
